Welcome to the Town of Westport's Online Mapping System. This system provides 7-day
a week, 24 hour a day access to the Town's maps and records maintained at the Assessor's
Office. The Town of Westport provides this site to you as an interactive tool to
make customized maps, find property information, and explore the Town's GIS data
layers. To begin using this site, please use the search fields to the left to type
in the property id, street name, house number, or owner last name of the property
of interest. The parcel mapping shown on this viewer is current to September 1,
2006. therefore, for properties subdivided since then, the website depiction will
not be up to date, and users should consult the assessor's office for current information.
At the next parcel data update the dates will coincide.
The following Fiscal Year 2008 information was used by the Assessing Department
to generate real estate tax bills to property owners in the Town of Westport. The
assessment date for FY 2008 was the first day of January 2007. Some property information
may have changed after this listing was released. Changes resulting from database
corrections or the abatement process and any new construction, land subdivision
or change of use occurring after the assessment date, do not appear on this file.

To begin using the site, please use one or more of the search fields to the left
to type in as much information as you know about the property, such as property
id (e.g. 12-0-45), street name, house number or owner last name to obtain a list
of matching records. For example, typing "S" in the owner last name field will produce
a list of all property owners with a last name starting with "S". Parcels are identified
by assessor's map, block and lot. At this time the middle, or block number in Westport
will always be "zero". This ID format is used in order for Westport's data to conform
to state and federal standards. For example, assessor's Map 1, Lot 1, is identified
as Property ID 1-0-1.
